Concert Choir
Concert Choir is a performing arts class that teaches an introduction to basic music theory, vocal technique and performance skills. Students participate in two major concerts a year, our annual Christmas and Spring concerts.  Concert Choir is also a very important part of the spring musical.  Each choir member auditions and is involved in all performance aspects of the production, singing, acting and dancing.  Throughout the year, opportunities arise for the singers to go into the community and perform or we may be asked to perform at school functions, such as festivals, exhibitions, and Graduation.  As a performance group we take advantage of any opportunity to perform.  Concert Choir is a class offered to middle school and high school.

     

Elementary Choir
All Elementary students are involved in general music classes.  Within this class students learn basic music skills and terminology as well as rehearse performance material.  Each student is involved in our two annual concerts (Christmas and Spring) as well as our Elementary Musical.  The Elementary Musical offers students an opportunity for building skills in drama, dance, and singing.
