Join us for a fun-filled, exciting festival filled with teams of students working together to develop S.T.E.A.M.-driven (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) engaging and interactive exhibits showcasing their research and discovery in a wide variety of fields supported by industry/subject matter experts!
The 2nd Annual Jacksonville Science Festival kicks off Thursday, March 6, and Friday, March 7 at the 23 acre campus of The Foundation Academy and features interactive exhibits by K-12 students from a variety of schools. Over 1,800 have registered to attend on field trips from local public, private, charter and homeschool groups.
Then Saturday rolls out the city-wide event with even more excitement taking place in the downtown area and JU! Festivalgoers will enjoy BIG Science at MOSH – Friendship Fountain, the Physics of Skateboarding, ROV’s and UAV’s at Hemming Plaza, StarLab Portable Planetarium at Jax Main Library, and Marine Science Wonders at Jacksonville University.
