Introduces the principles of business, promotion, and customer engagement.
Our marketing class explores various components of marketing processes for future success in life and business. Students work in teams and on individual assignments to cover the concepts of marketing plans (including the 5 P’s of marketing), budgeting, logo design, mission statement creation, promotion and product creation. In addition, teams will create a fictitious business from start to finish, including budgeting for real estate, resources and other aspects of business development, marketing and promotion. Students will utilize the following programs in their work:
- Microsoft Suite- Including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel
- Canva
- Constant Contact
Essential Skills: Branding, advertising, digital/social media strategy, consumer research, communication, critical thinking.
